Problem :

Breaking into the outdoor gear market is tough without a brand or clear differentiator. Most products are sourced, repackaged, and thrown online without context, resulting in poor retention, no margin, and forgettable positioning.

I needed to build something that felt intentional from day one a clean, trustworthy brand with a clear product and a tight go-to-market system.

Solution :

I developed a brand identity built around utility, simplicity, and modular design. Starting with one core SKU (a stainless steel tumbler), we built a scalable brand system, a clean product experience, and a back-end designed for easy expansion.

The launch strategy combined DTC testing with platform SEO, rapid feedback loops, and performance-focused content.

Challenge :

Balancing visual polish with startup speed was a constant challenge. The temptation to over-design was real, but the goal was traction not aesthetics.

I had to make sure the brand was strong enough to hold weight later, without slowing the team down now. Every element needed to serve growth, not just look good.

To embed a Youtube video, add the URL to the properties panel.

Summary :

Pure Commerce gave us a fast, focused entry point into the outdoor goods space. The brand, product, and launch system were built to validate quickly and scale efficiently.

This project reflects how I approach early-stage execution: clear brand, clean product, and commercial thinking baked in from the start.
